Author: So with Fathers Day coming up people all over the country are scrambling to try and find a suitable gift. It’s actually quite difficult too, the dad usually being one of the tougher gifts to buy, even if most people claim it’s mum!.
So with people all over the country trying to find those perfect Fathers Day Gifts, here’s a list of some great ideas for that ideal present:
Booze is usually a good place to start with dad, but there’s no reason to just grab any old bottle of wine when there’s some great alcohol-based gifts out there. Try a brewing kit for example (allowing your dad to brew and drink his own special brew), there are some great kits available online.. There’s also gifts that delay dad from being able to get to his favourite tipple, the ‘vice wine puzzle’ or the ‘bottle lock’ both being great examples.!
With it being summer you’d be right in thinking gifts relating to one of Dad’s favourite haunts, the barbeque, would be a promising place to start. Having a look around the net I can already see some fantastic bbq related gifts, including the Firesteel a flint keyring that will allow dad to start a fire anywhere, without the need for a lighter. If your dad is more of a fan of modern bbq’s, try the Grillslinger, which lets dad hold his cooking utensils around his waist in a cowboy like holster, something i’m sure most dads would enjoy.
Or there’s always the option of getting something which allows dad to bring his beloved record and film collection into the digital age with something like the iPod Dock USB Turntable, which will let him record all his old vinyls onto the iPod you’ll have to show him how to use. Similarly, the VCR to PC is a good bet, letting you back up and finally get rid of those outdated VCR tapes.
The Internet can throw up some fantastic Fathers Day gift ideas, take the time to have a look around and going for one of the three areas above will probably result in a smiling, happy dad on Fathers Day.
