Or want her to test out a location that you know and think she’ll like, then purchase a redeemable card from there. This way she can choose something that she truly will relish. The only negative to this type of present is that she’ll know precisely what you allocated to her. If you’d rather show her that you really spent time selecting something she would appreciate, then take a chance and purchase a certain item or service. Massages, facials, manicures and various spa remedies make a nice pampering gift, but providing you are certain she is comfortable with this kind of focused attention.
For ladies on your secret Santa list, or that you don’t know that well, a stocking stuffed with several fun items may well make the best gift idea for Christmas. Purchase a red, green or a multi colored stocking, put her name on it, and start stuffing with candy canes, trinkets, and such. She will have a good time reaching in to withdraw each new surprise. Concert and theatre tickets are a nice treat if you know what kind of Music or stage plays interest her. Look at your local entertainment magazine to see who or what is coming to your city this coming year. Unsure what she loves in the way of arts and entertainment, then give a booklet of movie tickets so she can enjoy movies of her choosing throughout the year.
If your low on funds but nonetheless want to give something thoughtful, then think about offering your time. Make your own personal gift card and give her a service you know she needs or would love like washing her car or taking it to the mechanic. Offer to clean her home or watch the children or pets while she takes some quiet time for herself. Keep true to the thought and spirit of Christmas gift giving. Do not worry and agonize about finding the best gift ideas or feel obligated to give. Christmas is a period for sharing peace and happiness. Just close your eyes and think about the ladies on your list. With just a bit of thought, you will produce just the right gifts that will bring a grin to her face and yours.
