I enjoy using the SLR options on this camera. Price was reasonable.

I use it daily and carry it with me everywhere. It's size is a little awkward, but I can't stand the picture quality on the smaller cameras.

Continous shoot mode is nice.

I have a 2gb memory card, holds more then enough pictures.

Battery life is good. I've never had it run out on my, although it has gone low from time to time.

I would recomend this camera to anyone looking for a decent SLR.
Pro : Great Pictures, nice depth of field, good features
Con : Large in size

This is my first digital camera. I chose Sony Alpha because my Minnolta lenses would fit this camera as well. I haven't been disappointed. The images are brilliant and the camera was easy to learn and use. I haven't had any problems. Unlike the majority, I have never had good luck with Nikon. Minolta was my best purchase before going with this Sony. I might should have waited about purchasing. I paid $1000. I've seen it for less in the past few months.
Pro : Excellent detail in photos, easy to use
Con : Haven't found any yet...price was a little high
