The real difference is in the details. See who’s calling, in color, without opening your phone ; the large internal display is complemented by an impressive external display. The precision-cut metal keypad reacts to the lightest of touches. And the features you can’t always see are equally impressive, like quad-band GSM – for global calls where GSM network coverage and roaming agreements are present.

we all know that the RAZR V3 looks sleek… a good question to ask is if it performs as well as it looks… IMO it exceeded all my expectations in terms of performance and is the best phone that combines style and function. this is the 5th cell phone ive ever owned and the best by far. it has everything that i need (i think i can be classified as your average cell phone user) and is neatly packaged in a slick, (mostly) all metal, slimline flip phone.
the RAZR obviously isnt for everyone. you will definitely hear people whine about lack of features(like no video capture) or the price tag. all i know is that im satisfied… until the RAZR with video capture comes out that is…
Pro : Loud Speakerphone, MP3 Ringtones, Good Battery Life, Great Reception with Internal Antenna, 2 Awesome Color Displays, The Slim Line Aluminum Design
Con : Does not capture video, not enough internal memory (5 MB), Phone Book needs improvement
Motorola, has put out a really great product and the design is light weight and very eye catching. The price is high because you get what you pay for with anything you buy. I recommend this phone to any that can afford it, and if you can't check out the motorola v551, little larger and heavier but all the same features for alot less.
Pro : Excellent phone for clarity and features
Con : pricey
I was one of the first people on the planet to receive the Razor,Indeed I was impressed with the design, the clarity of the video screen and the colorful software included. The speaker system is one of my favorite feature for it allows me to leave the phone anywhere around the house , the bluetooth system integration brings the razor to its fullest potential.
Major complaint towards the address book entry, the system slows down as you gain 30+ entries, ridiculous for a camera of such capacity.
The options in the phone are unlimited, for those who are passionate about recording videos and sounds, despite the price of the razor, it does not offer it.
I have dropped the Razor a couple of times already, besides scratches and chips on the surface, the phone works perfectly. Although few moments I have had the line dropped.
If you love a slim design, and you have a cellphone mainly for the purpose of receiving phone calls, This is the phone for you.
Pro : Slim, Beautiful design, Clear Buttons, Clear screen,Speaker system,Clean Camera, Excellent audio & volume controls, shock absorbent
Con : Slow system, Relatively User friendly, Video recording function missing
If looks could kill this phone will drive you to that. I brought this phone as an upgrade with T-Mobile. Maybe it was the Network but everything on this phone was nothing compared to some reviews I read. Therefore, I returned the phone a week later. The phone book was a real headache besides for the price you think that Motorola would had made this a more user friendly phone one that it is not and with T-mobile's service you can't download or get internet access just wap service. Again, it could have been T-mobile's Network given the service issues as well. Other than looks I strongly sugguest passing on this phone.

Don't get me wrong I love this phone. When I first purchased the phone, I was under the impression that it came with a video camera because it was so expensive but it didn't. Luckily I know some who is a cellular nerd and works for a cellular compnay who has software that put the video camera on my phone plus a few extras. So now I feel like I am getting my money worth. The only problem that I have with the phone is that is catches finger prints so quickly so you have to continuosly wipe the phone if you want it to look half way decent. Other than that the razr is a good phone. Oh yeah I forgot to say that you can't get insurance on this phone because it is so expensive. But I thought…and maybe this is only me….that insurance was to protect things, and wouldn't you want to protect something that expensive….go figure!!!!!
Pro : Cute Phone, Good Distinguished Features
Con : The screen and buttons get dirty really quickly from finger prints and any facial oils.
Its a great phone overall there are some improvements that could be made on it but overall im impressed and have received plenty of compliments on it.
Pro : very sleek looking, loud speakerphone, good camera
Con : poor graphics on outter screen
You know the funny thing about customer service ppl… they pretend like they know what they're talking about. As, an electrical engineer I find that very insulting. I used to have a Silver Razr. I had to get it replaced 3 times. The 4th time they sent me a black one just to see if the updates they did for the black one would help. Unfortunatly, it did not. Finally, my service provider replaced my phone for the Nokia 6682. It is WONDERFUL! The razr had so many problems… One major one was it's filtering issue. No, it's not your service provider… it't the actual phone. It picks up and amplifies almost all the RF emissions it comes in contact with. So, you can barely hear the person on the other side and vice versa. Sometimes it gets so bad that you can't hear each other at all! Once I tried to ground my phone by using the phone while it was charging (basically having a connection to earth ground). It helped a little and not all the time. Many other people that I know have this issue. Also, in the process of returning the phone throught the service provider I also discovered that many others are returning the phone for the same and more reasons. I would highly NOT recommend you buy this phone (any color) unless I really didn't like you… even then I still wouldn't recommend it…
Pro : Tiny, comact
Con : horrible reception, bad filters, little features
the phone is a stunner. it weighs next to nothing and has got the looks. the screen is fantastic however, the camera leaves a lot to be desired. i have other motorola phones which have far better cameras then the razr. the menus are more or less similar to other motorola phones. it will take some time getting used to opening and closing the phone. overall its a good phone…enjoy.
p.s. if u are wearing clothes with deep pockets beware..the phone is so light that u will end up digging each one of ur pockets.

I was excited to get the new RAZR V3 phones. My wife had nothing but good things to say about her old v60i, and I couldn't wait to replace our T637s with phones with a decent camera and mp3 ringtones. So, we went and bought one for each of us. I'm not impressed. The bluetooth is almost unusable. If I use my PC to try to browse the phone's data, I know I'll have to yank the battery in order to get Bluetooth working again. I've opened my phone to see "static" on half the screen! Sometimes, the phone will report itself to other Bluetooth devices as a "headset". And it's not possible to set up a headset to be used only when a call is being placed — when my car Bluetooth kit talks to my RAZR, the RAZR adopts the headset profile for the rest of my journey. Press a button and the car audio has to beep. Sony-Ericsson has a much better Bluetooth implementation. I'd go back to my T637, except Cingular won't let me.
Pro : Sleek look; bright, big screen; mp3 ringtones; decent VGA camera
Con : Very very buggy Bluetooth; awful address book; very slow to boot
I dont know what all of you are talking about no vid camera, jst go to multimedia and vids and then new vid, it's a slow process to using it, but it has it. The phone is very well made the buttons are like no other on the design and work wounderfully, it feels like $250, not $5, not one of those phones that you are afraid to pull outa your pocket cuz u dont wanna drop it cuz it feels so cheap
Pro : Slim Design, dosnt have a "feel cheap" feel to it
Con : Pricey
