Author: I bought a flat screen TV and now I want to hook up my stereo to it to listen to TV from my stereo speakers. There is no RCA sound out jacks. I called Vizio and they said the only output is optical. My stereo doesn’t have optical input. Why do they make TVs with no audio output.

I’m 15, and I’ve been evaluating different career paths for months. I found that most every career, like a lawyer, doctor, architect, engineer, are ok, but definitely not for me. Even worse is the cost of education towards one of these careers. Anyway, I’m a huge TV fan, from shows like House MD, Fringe, LOST and others. I ♥ JJ Abrams btw, he a big influence of mine. Anyway, I’m interested in tv series creation, like creating shows (fiction). What direction do I go? I’m not looking to be discouraged!

DO WHAT YOU WANT, NOT WHAT OTHERS WANT
All the TV Series I liked: House, Supernatural, Merlin, The 4400. All of them provided a good plot in the first few seasons but then gradually got too over-dramatic and complicated. I want to follow a new TV series that I know will never disappoint me even as it goes through numerous seasons. Any suggestions?
The problem is that viewers often disagree on what is a good plot. The very show that many like will be the one that many hate.
Accordingly, no-one can predict that a television series will NEVER disappoint YOU.
