The mistake that a lot of people tend to make is letting the problem of a slow computer go unresolved, and their usual solution to this problem is to go out and buy a new machine. This is the vicious cycle of the average, less-knowledgeable computer user and they find that no matter how much Money they spend they will end up having a slow machine, the same as before. Improving computer performance past and beyond the initial specs is actuality quite easy, all you have to do is manage a few tweaks that will restore your computer back to the way it was the first time you purchased it. These are just some of the tips and tricks you should know about, because they can help you bring back those joyous days of fast load and execution times.
One of the best ways to do this is to get a good antivirus and anti adware program – which guards against vicious computer programs, viruses, Trojans and even adware and malware from being installed on your system. These programs and files have the potential to seriously slow down your system or even make your computer crash. It isn’t just your time that is at risk, your precious data and work are also on the line when you don’t have a good antivirus and anti adware program installed. Don’t make the mistake of not investing a few dollars on the Health of your computer because the alternative is far more expensive.
One other tip that you should definitely consider is to always use the scandisk and disk defragment tools that are available freely on all computers. These programs monitor the health of your disks and help to reorganize the data in a manner whereby the computer can easily access, without taking the time to sift through cluttered databanks. A fragmented disk that clutters up over time is inevitable, and the tools here will help eliminate the problem. All you have to do is to click on them and let the programs run overnight, or when ever you don’t need to use your computer, and once the scans are completed, you will definitely have a faster computer.
Another thing you should think about is the health of your registry. This little unassuming piece of Information is just like the central nervous system of your body. Once something goes wrong with it, then the whole operating system will be affected. Time and constant use will always cause a lot of junk and clutter in the registry to accumulate, and common problems include bad data strings and invalid keys within its structure, which Windows will constantly run over and cause its performance to stutter. A good registry tool will solve all your problems and the thing is, there are a lot of good and free software out there that you can use. Once you have it installed in the computer, it will identify all your problems and clean them out, leaving you with a means to improving computer performance.

“How to record my computer screen with a camera or DV? I would like to record things happened on my screen with a camera. But the video come out is blurring.” –Ask Yahoo!
I saw questions like this for times on Ask Yahoo! Recording computer screen with a camera or DV is not a good idea. To get it done, you have to settle your DV in the precisely right position in front of your computer screen. Frankly speaking, it is a thankless task. And the recording quality is disappointing.

I have a BT business hub, and there can be 3 or 4 computers, including the PS3 connected wirelessly at anyone time. I use my computer for work and when someone is doing something over the network, like streaming video or playing games my broadband performance suffers.
I would like to know if I can give my Computer priority to get what it needs, even at the expense of the other networked computers.
Thanks, Ben.
This can be done.
You cannot do it with the home grade routers however.
You need routers and switches that provide 802.1p QoS capability and you need to properly program them. These are substantially more costly than home grade devices.
Look into Adtran NeTVanta 1221 R for an integrated managed switch and router that will do the job.
